DELIVERING GOOD

Roger Jackson of Motivating Youth has partnered with United Way of Central Georgia and several community partners, including Macon-Bibb County, Griffith Family Foundation, and Rhythm & Jazz Foundation, to bring the nonprofit organization Delivering Good to Bibb County. The mission of Delivering Good is to provide delivery of product donations made by companies in fashion, home and children’s industries to communities. For more information about Delivering Good, visit https://www.delivering-good.org/.

As one of the first events in Bibb County, there will be a BCSD Employee Appreciation Day Giveaway on Saturday, March 11, at Central High School. The event is only open to BCSD employees, and employees must have a BCSD ID for entry. The event will take place from 8 AM-1 PM and 2 PM-5 PM in the school’s gym. To best facilitate the giveaway, only a limited number of employees will be allowed entry into the gym at a time. As the line continues to move, more individuals will be allowed entry.

Why should you attend? Delivering Good receives donations from partners such as Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Burlington, The Children’s Place, etc. Each shipment to a community includes brand new items from these partners who have made donations of surplus supplies. Donations vary each time, but all items are brand new and must be given away.

Mr. Jackson and United Way wanted to take this opportunity to support BCSD employees and thank them for all they do for our community. Employees, you are invited to attend and receive a limited number of items at this giveaway on March 11. To register for the event, visit:
